All patients are required to pay accounts in full on the day of consultation. An additional $5 is added to the gap for accounts not paid in full on the day.

Standard fees
The Medicare rebate can be refunded immediately to an EFTPOS or debit card, or deposited by Medicare into a registered bank account.

A discounted fee is also available for children 16 years and under. Longer or more complex appointments may incur a larger gap at the doctor’s discretion. Independent doctors may have different billing policies and fees to the partners.
Billing rules
If you have genuine financial difficulty, discuss your situation with your doctor or the Business Manager.
Concession
The pensioner discount is applied on presentation of a valid Pensioner or Health Care Card. The card must be presented at every visit.
DVA
Holders of Gold or White Specific Treatment Entitlement Cards are billed directly to DVA.
Did not attend
A $45 fee applies if you do not attend an appointment or telehealth consultation, or cancel with less than 3 hours’ notice. This is not covered by Medicare.
Transfer of notes
Summary: no charge.
Complete records: $25.
Telehealth
Telehealth appointments are paid through HotDoc. Card details are entered using the link HotDoc sends by SMS.

Dr Graeme Siggs. New patients are welcome and referrals are not required.

Regency Medical Clinic is not a walk-in clinic.

Longer appointmentTell reception if you need an insurance, employment or driver’s medical, a skin excision, a full medical check, or help with a complex medical problem.
Nurse appointmentAppointments should also be booked with the practice nurses.
CancellationGive notice as soon as possible, preferably 24 hours, so the time can be allocated to another person. Less than 3 hours’ notice incurs the $45 fee.
Home visitHome visits are at the doctor’s discretion. Contact reception as early as possible.
Urgent, not an emergencyCome to the clinic to be seen by the first available doctor.
After hours
In an emergency, call 000.
When the clinic is closed, call 8269 1900. The call goes to the Hello Home Doctor service to organise a locum doctor. There may be a fee. Hello Home Doctor sends the clinic a copy of the visit.
