Fees and appointments
Regency Medical Clinic is not a bulk-billing clinic. Fees as of 1 July 2025.
Standard consultations
A standard appointment is 15 minutes. Longer or more complex appointments may cost more, at the doctor’s discretion.

What you pay after Medicare
Choose your appointment. The rebate is what Medicare pays back for a standard consultation.
Rebate as shown on the clinic’s fee schedule from 1 July 2025. Independent doctors may set different fees; please ask.
How billing works
- Pay on the day. All accounts are paid in full on the day of the consultation.
- Medicare rebate. The Medicare rebate can be refunded to your EFTPOS or debit card at reception, or paid into your bank account by Medicare. Not registered your bank details with Medicare? Ask reception for the form.
- Discounts. For pensioner and Health Care Card holders (show your valid card at every visit) and children 16 and under.
- DVA. Gold or White Card holders are billed direct to DVA.
- Not paid on the day. $5.00 is added to the gap.
- Transfer of notes. Summary: no charge. Complete: $25.
- Telehealth. Paid by card through HotDoc. You have 90 minutes to enter your card details from the SMS, or the appointment is cancelled. If your doctor decides to bulk bill a telehealth or isolation appointment, HotDoc will ask for your consent by SMS; in the clinic you sign a Medicare assignment-of-benefit form.
- Specialists and radiology. Contact them directly for their fees.
- Financial difficulty. Please talk to your doctor or our Business Manager.

Booking
Need longer?
Ask for a longer appointment for insurance, employment and driver’s medicals, removal of skin lesions, full medical checks and complex problems. Nurse appointments are booked too.
MyMedicare
The practice takes part in MyMedicare. You can register through your Medicare Online Account or the Express Plus Medicare app, or fill in a form at reception.
Cancelling
Please give us notice
If you cannot keep an appointment or telehealth call, let us know as soon as possible, preferably 24 hours ahead, so the time can go to someone else.
Not attending, or cancelling with less than 3 hours’ notice, costs $45.00. Medicare does not cover this fee.
After hours
When we are closed, call 8269 1900 to reach the Hello Home Doctor service for a locum. There may be a fee.
